At this site, you'll learn about what I believe in, the people I admire, and what my goals would be if I entered public life. The first thing you should know about me is that I am a LIBERAL. A liberal is a person who cares for humankind and has a committment to improving the lives of others. A liberal, like myself, supports the following things (to most degrees) :
1) A woman's right to choose
2) Equal Rights for all (Civil Rights, Affirmitive Action)
3) Social Security for all seniors
4) A Public Health Care system for all Americans (39 million Americans are uninsured!)
5) A nation that acts as a global policeman for the entire world (including being part of the UN, NATO, and by being a peacemaker between warring countries)
6) A tax code that is REFORMED, NOT REPLACED (I.E. I do not support a flat tax)
7) Support of Campaign Finance Reform
8) A Goverment that works for the people, not the powerful (That is, I support a bigger goverment)
9) Support for countries under attack from terrorism (such as Israel)
10) A committement to rolling up our sleeves and getting the job done each day!
